USER AGREEMENT (TERMS OF USE)
This is an English translation of the Russian original. In case of any discrepancy, the Russian original prevails.
Version of 16 September 2026. There are no previous versions: this is the first.
1. What this document is about
These are the terms on which you use the Onom app. The agreement is concluded between you and Ivan Kovalev — and only between you and us. Apple and Google are not parties to this agreement: they deliver the app and accept payment. We, not the store, are responsible for the app itself and for everything in it.
These terms do not override the store's rules and cannot contradict them: for Apple these are the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, for Google — the Google Play Terms of Service.
2. Who we are
Ivan Kovalev, Republic of Kazakhstan. Address: Astana, Kravtsova St., 2. Phone: +7 702 636 44 86. Email: ik914735@gmail.com.
Write here with any question, complaint or claim about the app.
3. When you accept these terms
When you install the app and create an account. If you disagree with anything, do not create an account: without your agreement we cannot provide the service. You can withdraw your agreement by deleting your account.
4. What you get
A license: the right to use the app while your subscription is active. This is not a transfer of rights to the app itself — it remains ours.
The license is personal and non-transferable. It applies to devices that you own or control, under the usage rules of the store you downloaded the app from. If it is the App Store, the app may also be used by accounts associated with yours through Family Sharing.
5. What you must not do
Resell access, hand your account over to other people, take the app apart and embed its code in other products, bypass payment, export other people's data or use the app for anything prohibited by law.
6. Your account
One account per person. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure: whoever gains access to your email will also gain access to your account. If you notice someone else signing in, write to us and we will close the sessions.
7. Subscription and payment
For the first month the app works in full and free of charge. You do not need to add a card, and nothing is charged.
After that, a subscription is required. You see its title, length and price on the purchase screen before you tap “pay” — check there: in your country the price may differ because of taxes and exchange rates. The subscription is taken out through the App Store or Google Play and cancelled there as well. If you do not take it out or renew it, the app closes, and your account and records are kept for one more month and then deleted — we will remind you by email a week in advance.
There are no free features after the first month: without a subscription the app no longer opens.
The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time in the store settings; access remains until the end of the paid period.
8. Refunds
Refunds follow the rules of the store you paid through: the App Store and Google Play have their own refund windows and forms. If the store has sent you to us, write to support — we will sort it out.
This section does not limit the rights given to you by the consumer protection law of your place of residence.
9. Support
Support for the app is provided by us, and only by us. Apple and Google have no such obligation: with questions about the app they will send you to us. Our email is in Section 2.
10. The app is not a judge or a coach
The scorecard in the app is your working log. It does not replace the official scorecard of a competition, and disputes on the shooting line are decided by the judge, not the app. Hints and insights are calculations based on your own shots, not coaching or medical advice. Decisions about training load are made by you and your coach.
11. Your records
Results are stored on the server and restored on a new device after you sign in. Notes closed to your coach are kept only on your phone — if you lose it, there will be nowhere to restore them from. Export them in advance if they matter.
Photos of your bow that you take in the app are also stored on the server and remain yours. We show them only to you and to the coach you opened your equipment to, and we do not post them anywhere.
12. Your coach and access to your data
A coach sees your data only if you yourself connected them and opened the relevant sections to them. You can disconnect the coach at any time — access disappears immediately. What exactly they saw is shown in the access history.
13. Publishing results and conduct
Publishing of results is off by default; you turn it on. In shared tables and at events you must not impersonate another person, post other people's data or insult other participants. For violations we may close your access.
14. Texts of the rules
The rules of archery belong to World Archery. We show them with the source and the article numbers and do not present them as our own. If the rights holder asks us to remove the text, we will remove it.
15. Third-party materials built into the app
Icons — the coolicons set by Kryston Schwarze, licensed under CC BY 4.0. The Onest font — SIL Open Font License 1.1. These licenses allow the materials to be used, including in a paid app, and require crediting the authors. We credit them on the “About the app” screen.
16. Terms of other services
When using the app, comply with the terms of the services through which you connect to it: your mobile operator, your internet provider, and Apple, Google or VK if you sign in through them. We are not responsible for these terms, but you must not break them through our app either.
17. U.S. legal restrictions
By accepting these terms, you confirm two facts: you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a “terrorist supporting” country, and you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. This is a requirement of the app store and is the same for all apps.
18. What we do not guarantee
That the app will work without interruptions or errors. That the calculations will match someone else's. That the server is always available: updates and outages happen. We do our best, but it would not be honest to promise that nothing will ever fail.
We are responsible for warranties on the app. If the app fails to conform to a warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price to you. That is the extent of Apple's involvement: it has no other warranty obligations to you, and everything else is our responsibility.
19. Claims and third-party rights
Address any claim about the app to us, not to Apple. This applies to everything: product liability, the app's failure to conform to legal requirements, consumer protection claims and claims regarding the processing of personal data.
If anyone claims that the app or your use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, will investigate, defend and settle such a claim.
20. Liability
We are liable to the extent provided by law. We are not liable for lost profits, for the results of your competitions or for decisions made on the basis of the app's insights.
Nothing in this agreement limits our liability to you more than the law of your country allows.
21. The role of Apple and Google
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement. Once you accept its terms, Apple has the right to enforce them against you on a par with us.
Google acts as the distribution platform and accepts payment; your relationship with Google is governed by the Google Play Terms of Service.
22. Termination of access
You end the agreement by deleting your account. We may close your access if you violate these terms or try to disrupt the service; in that case we will send you the reason by email.
23. Changes to the terms
We may change these terms. We will warn you about significant changes in the app before they take effect. If the new terms do not suit you, you can delete your account.
24. Governing law and disputes
The agreement is governed by the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan, unless the law of your country requires otherwise. We first try to resolve a dispute by correspondence: write to support, it is faster than going to court.
25. Contact
Email: ik914735@gmail.com. The address and phone number are in Section 2. The privacy policy and the text of the consent to data processing are there too, on the “About the app” screen.
